About Breathwork

Breathwork is the practice of using conscious breathing techniques to change your mental, emotional, and physical state.

 

Breathing is one of the few involuntary physiological processes that we can consciously control. Intentionally changing our breathing patterns, like slowing your breath, deepening it, or changing its rhythm can have physiological benefits such as reduced stress and anxiety, improved focus and clarity, increased energy and better sleep.

 

Breathwork can be a powerful practice that calm the nervous system, increase self-awareness, and support emotional and physical wellbeing - by altering the way you breathe.

Transformative Breathwork

Work with a conscious connected breathing pattern (a specific breathing technique) to release emotional and physical tension from the body, be more in touch with feelings and sensations, and facilitate self-exploration, healing, and vitality.

About Atelier Breath

Tara is a breathwork faciliator, a mother, and creator of Atelier Breath. Her two boys are her muses who inspire and amaze her every day. She offers breathwork one on one and in small groups, and focuses on work with neurodivergent individuals - The space that breathwork creates in the mind and body can have a profound positive impact on people with sensitive nervous systems, allowing them to access the most creative and authentic versions of themselves.

 

​Atelier Breath was launched to bring the art and science of breathwork and functional breathing to schools and workplaces. Atelier Breath creates workshops for educators, students, and employees, bringing the benefits of breathwork into the everyday.
